My faith and belief that I was not alone, and that God was always at my side, were key to my healing. And in 2005 I decided that I wanted to share that feeling with others in the form of music and inspirational Scripture.
I became more and more inspired. And I am so thankful for the faith that, my now husband, Wendell had to purchase equipment and go “head first” into the production of our first CD. He selected and ordered a keyboard so that I could compose the music (which honestly I wasn’t even sure I could do at that point) and then he researched and selected all of the necessary equipment for producing a sound CD. I got busy praying for guidance on what Scriptures to use and like a gentle flow both the Scriptures and the accompanying music presented themselves to me.
When the first CD was ready we made 200 copies by hand, printing out covers, cutting, and stapling inserts, assembling and shrink-wrapping the jewel cases into our first finished products, which we immediately began to hand out. And that was our beginning.
Today we are still searching for new ways to inspire and comfort people. And when we know people are hurting we are still passing out our CDs in the hopes that they will be inspired to have the faith in God that brings “the Peace that passes all understanding” and the healing of the heart.
